Hotel Soedjono Tetebatu was built in the 1920’s by the doctor from Java Mr. Soedjono when the Dutch colonize in Lombok, the hotel served as a mountain retreat.

The Dutch colonial heritage style of the house is typical for the time. Very well preserved, the house is now the main reception area and also the residence of SOEJONO  family who has run the hotel since a very long time. Various styles of bungalows and rooms such SUPERIOR ROOM, COTTAGES, STANDARD ROOM and Also the BUNGALOWS are available for accommodation, most views to the surrounding rice – paddies and glimpses to the mighty volcano Mount Rinjani. The restaurant serves an excellent local dishes as well as also western style cuisine. Fresh fruit and vegetables are harvested at the Hotel’s property and buffets are available for groups of ten or more.

On the property you can view crops such as rice, vanilla. Coffee, avocado, tobacco, chocolate, rambutan and cloves, dependingon the season of course. We are happy to show you around and explain you the process of planting and harvesting various products.

Spending a night or more at Hotel Soedjono is a great experience. The solitude and fresh crisp mountain air will refresh your body and senses. Air-conditioning is not necessary here and in the months from June to September you might need a jumper. Water is plentiful here and it comes straight from the mountain springs. The swimming pool is filled with fresh mountain water without any chemicals.
